Sidewalk and parking lot work this summer along with contracts for the administrators topped the discussion last night for the Rochelle Township High School board.
Following a public hearing, $16,000 was approved to repair the sidewalk behind and west of the small gym along with the east side of the building near the teacher's entrance.
The district also plans to purchase a seal coat machine, trailer, and tools at a cost of just under $14,400 for the parking lots and Hub Drive.
Other bids approved last night included $26,770 for replacing the district's server under the upgrades in the technology plan and 43 hundred dollars to have body work done on 2 trucks.
Following an executive session, contracts were approved for the following administrators:
**5 years: Superintendent Jamie Craven and Athletic Director Kevin Crandall
**3 years: Principal Jason Harper and Assistant Principal Rich Harvey
**1 year: Assistant Principal Chris Lewis and Business Manager Kevin Dale
Counselor Nate Underwood was also recently named "Supervisor of the Year" and Agriculture instructor Donna Page is a finalist for the "Exellence Teaching" award. She won Section 2 in the state.
