Illinois peach crop affected by harsh winter

The peach crop in Illinois is taking a hit all due to the extreme weather this winter and early spring. The Farm Bureau's John Hawkins say the harsh weather may have destroyed some of the crop. Most of the peaches that are grown in-state are sold at local farmers' markets so people shouldn't necessarily see a reduction in the grocery stores. Hawkins says other fruits grown in the state should be okay but it's too soon to know for sure.
