The Illinois Treasurer's office says it wants people that have old paychecks or may have left money in a closed checking account to claim their cash. Treasurer Dan Rutherford says his office has returned close to 30-million-dollars in unclaimed property this year through the ICASH program. He added that there is still one-point-eight million dollars still unclaimed. If you want to check if the state owes you money, log on to cash.Illinois.gov.
