Jobless rate drops in March for Illinois

The unemployment rate in Illinois is at a five year low at eight-point-four-percent. Jay Rowell, Director of the Illinois Department of Employment Security, says it's encouraging to see the jobs market steadily improve. Rowell is urging people who are still looking for work to post their resumes on IllinoisJobNet.com, where there are nearly 200-thousand jobs posted. The national unemployment rate is six-point-seven-percent.
