An Ogle County judge set bond at $15,000 for a Rochelle man after he was arrested on a drug offense early yesterday morning at a party.
36-year old Sammy Silvas was arrested on the felony charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
The arrest came about after police received word of loud music yesterday morning from a party at 328 North 7th Street.
After further investigation, Silvas was arrested.
He remains in the Ogle County jail in lieu of bond. Silvas appears before a judge later today in Oregon.
