A Rochelle woman pled guilty to the misdemeanor offense of reckless conduct following a child pornography case which began in 2011.
50-year old Susana Guzman had originally been charged with a Class 1 felony offense.
The investigation began when information was brought to the Cherry Valley police department from an individual who discovered suspicious pictures and video during a data transfer of Guzman's phone as she was updating her service.
Rochelle police executed a search warrant at Guzman's residence as electronic devices were seized.
The local woman received a sentence of 2 years conditional discharge along with counseling. She must also pay fees and fines that total just over 13 hundred dollars and court costs.
