Local police have arrested a Rochelle woman on a drug offense early yesterday morning following an incident in the 100 block of 7th Avenue.
Authorities charged 21-year old Jessi Watson on the felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Police seized 5 bags of cocaine and some prescription pills at the residence.
The arrest came about after police received word from a 911 call of possible drug activity at 103 7th Avenue in the Hub City.
Watson remains in jail with no bond set on the felony offense. She will appear before a judge later today when that figure will be set.
