Area residents are shoveling again today following more snow this winter.
Between 2 to 5 inches of snow hit Northern Illinois last night and this morning. Many of the secondary roads are still snow packed and slippery this morning with some drifting in area.
Cold temperatures will be in the forecast today with a high only at 13 above zero. The low tonight will be between 7 to 11 below zero with the wind chills between 15 and 25 below.
Cold temperatures will continue for most of the week with a high in the mid 30's by Friday.
