Area residents are faced with frigid temperatures this morning after being hit with a snow storm earlier in the week.
The low has dropped to minus 15 with wind chills between 20 to 30 below zero.
The wind chill advisory will remain in effect until 10 this morning.
Many secondary roads remain snow packed an slippery for area residents. Drifting snow has also become a problem on many roads.
Residents are reminded that the snow ordinance remains in effect for numerous communities in the area. You should park your vehicle on the odd numbered side of the street today so plows can clear the pavement.
A winter weather advisory also goes into effect this afternoon at 4 until 9 Saturday morning. This deals with blowing snow as visibility may be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in some rural areas.
