A Rochelle woman escaped serious injuires late last night following a single vehicle crash in DeKalb county.
The accident took place a short time before 11:30 at the intersection of Goelitz and Mowers Roads in rural Kirkland.
Reports indicate that a car driven by 20-year old Madison Wilkinson of Rochelle was traveling north bound on Goelitz Road when she lost control of the vehicle on the snow and icy road conditions.
The car left the roadway and overturned in the ditch.
Wilkinson refused medical treatment at the scene. No tickets were issued.
