The drama director of the VIVA Performaing Arts School in Dixon turned himself in to police this past weekend followiing a sexual abuse case.
Tim Boles was arrested on a warrant for failure to report an abuse or neglect of a child, a Class "A" misdemeanor. He has posted bond and released from jail.
The case involves 31-year old Robert Campbell of DeKalb who was arrested on November 4th on 3 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Police say that Campbell allegedly abused a 16-year old male student back in the summer of 2012 while working at VIVA.
Police say that a student allegedly told Boles about the incident. He never told school officials or authorities about the alleged allegations.
Campbell returns to court on December 11th in Lee County for a hearing.
