A contest sponsored by the Rochelle Garden Club, Bikes In Bloom is a fundraising event based on creating bicycles and tricicles with gardening or flower themes for display at homes, organizations and businesses in the greater Rochelle area.

Applications for entry may be found at the Rochelle Garden Club website, http://www.rochellegardenclub.org/news.html, or see the uploaded flyer. There is a $5.00 entry fee, and entries are accepted from May 1 thru June 15, 2014. The three categories for judging are 'Best in Show', 'Patriotic' and 'Most Unique'. Bikes may be displayed June 1 or after.

Judging will take place on August 8. All monies from this event will go to a horticultural scholarship, or toward beautifying our community should no scholarship application be recieved. For questions, call (815) 562-7178.
