DESCRIPTION:Join Univerisity of Illinois Extension & the DeKalb County Forest Preserve for their annual Maple Syrup Harvest.  This event is a great way to get out with family or friends and welcome the early signs of spring.  Come watch tapping demonstrations, sample some pancakes with real syrup vs corn syrup, and try your hand at some make and take crafts for the kids.  The event is free.  Genoa Prairie Gems 4-H club will be selling lunch items and baked goods.
