Sauk Valley Shop Small is a grass roots effort of the Shop Small movement, uniting locally owned, independent retailers and cultural groups from within the Sauk Valley region in northern Illinois. Working together, the alliance utilizes Facebook, the Internet and traditional marketing to promote one another’s local small businesses and cultural activities. On Shop Small Saturday, participating merchants will offer an assortment of specials, cultural events, and Sauk Valley Shop Small “Button Deals” for customers sporting their button.
