DESCRIPTION:Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Biking with Beanzie is a recreational ride presented by Kishwaukee Kiwanis Club of DeKalb and sponsored by Kishwaukee Community Hospital.The Beanzie Road Ride route consists of primarily flat rural roads with some rolling terrain with estimated ride options of 20 miles, 40 miles, 60 miles, 80 miles and 101 miles. Past rides have gone through scenic Lake Shabbona State Park and the Lee County windmill farm. All roads are well-paved, lightly traveled and posted with signs containing ride information and bits of Beanzie humor. This year also includes 3-mile and 5-mile Community Bicycle Pathway route options.  BWB is partnering with Pioneering Healthier Communities initiative to help promote a healthier lifestyle within DeKalb County.
 
Beanzie Road Ride: Adult: $30.00 (or $22.00 before July 5) (Registered children 13 & younger with paid adult are free.).
Community Bike Pathway Ride: $10
