SUMMARY:Kishwaukee Education Consortium

DESCRIPTION:The Kishwaukee Education Consortium is an association of high schools, Kishwaukee College, and other educational agencies that provide for the vocational education needs of high school students. Member schools include RTHS, Genoa-Kingston, Hiawatha, Malta, Sycamore, and DeKalb.
The KEC Office is located in its own building on the Kishwaukee Community College Campus, 21255 Malta Rd., Malta. Director is Tom Crouch. The KEC office: 815-825-2000. Call KEC with questions; students are encouraged to talk with their high school counselors.
The KEC Open House, for current students and their families, is Wednesday 5—7:30 pm. Visit the classrooms and labs, meet the teaching staff, other KEC families and enjoy refreshments prepared by students in our Culinary Careers class.
The Diesel, Auto Mechanics and Automated Engineering Technology program will present Class Expectations, Curriculum, and College Credit from 6:30—7 pm. Tours will follow until 7:30.
